A message from Kal Stewart, President, Association of California Community College Eligibility Specialists (ACCCES) & Riverside City Acting AD:
We are excited to share the official agenda for the annual WINtensive Workshop 2020 August 4-6 via Zoom and we hope you’re as excited about the lineup as we are!
This year, as we face the COVID-19 pandemic there is a tremendous amount of uncertainty in the world and for athletics. It is vital that we provide a space to support, uplift, and connect with our colleagues across the state. Our goal for the workshop this year is to continue to value the three P’s that ACCCES uses for the foundation of our mission: People, Policy, and Process.
We have a lineup not only to cover the eligibility process but also to engage one another in conversations that provide deeper professional development of our members. Sessions will include topics on connecting with counseling, race/diversity, and even violations and sanctions in the eligibility process. We ask that you register for the general sessions but consider joining us for ALL the optional content we have prepared for you!
We have also included a new member orientation to support any newly hired personnel as well as anyone in their first two years, wanting to connect and refresh. Please encourage your new hires to join us in this pre-workshop event, just for them!
All meetings have a registration link in the PDF attached that will be used to pre-register for each session. Please register as it will help us prepare for break out groups and activities planned. We really enjoyed the social at last years’ event so we will also be hosting one virtually on Wednesday evening at 5:00pm. So bring a drink, grab a seat at the computer and let's connect!
